Terms of Service

What Recs is. A free service for creating and privately sharing personal recommendations. By using it you agree to these terms.

Your content. Your recs are yours. By sharing a list you grant the people you share it with the ability to view and save it within Recs. Don't post content that's unlawful, deceptive, or that you don't have the right to share.

Honest recommendations. Recs is built on genuine peer recommendations. Accepting payment or incentives from venues in exchange for recommendations is prohibited and grounds for removal.

Acceptable use. No scraping, no bulk data collection, no impersonation, no spam. Share links are for people you know — mass-distribution of ask or share links for commercial purposes isn't allowed.

Third-party places. Recommendations link to real venues we don't control. Bookings and visits are between you and the venue; place details come from Google and may change.

No warranty. Recs is provided as-is, in active development. We may modify or discontinue features. To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the service.

Termination. You can delete your account anytime. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
